If you've ever tried eating a proper plate of Nasi Lemak while rushing to catch the LRT at Pasar Seni during the morning peak hour, you know it’s practically impossible. Sitting down at a crowded kopitiam isn't always an option when you have ten minutes before your shift starts.
At the same time, grabbing something quick usually means settling for dry, mass-produced convenience food that lacks any real soul.
That exact dilemma is how LemakBox got its name. We wanted to take real, fragrant Nasi Lemak and package it into a clean, secure, easy-to-carry box. Something you can grab on the go without making a mess at your office desk or on the train, but still filled with food that tastes like it took hours to prep—because it did.

LemakBox began with a childhood memory of our grandmother’s kitchen. Her Nasi Lemak was the heart of our home, bringing us together for early mornings and festive celebrations.
Today, our family has transformed that treasured recipe into a new destination in Chinatown. What started as a sibling-led dream to share our heritage has grown into a physical home where tradition meets the modern streets of KL.
